About Remi G. Kyek, MA, MFT
Remi has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years. Under her leadership as VP of Operations, MHC has helped thousands of Connecticut residents and their families achieve wellness and recovery. She holds a BA in Psychology from Montclair State College and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University.

For more than 100 years, MHC has worked to improve mental health services, promote recovery for people with mental health conditions, educate the community about the importance of mental wellness, and combat discrimination resulting from a mental health diagnosis.

Mental Health Connecticut and the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce Do a 180, LIVE! invites you to attend Wellbeing@Work: How to Reduce Stress & Increase Your Productivity, an hour long educational workshop and listening session aimed at in the importance of self-care and wellness in order to achieve a more productive workplace, boost employee morale, and make an impact from the employee level up.
According to the World Health Organization, “employee performance, rates of illness, absenteeism, accidents, and staff turnover are all affected by employees’ mental health status.” The first-hand knowledge Mental Health Connecticut (MHC) has attained from helping thousands of Connecticut residents face and recover from mental health conditions has helped business leaders combat these issues that every employer faces. Now in its second year, MHC is bringing this knowledge to the individual employee with a focus on small businesses.
Individuals who attend Wellbeing@Work will walk away with the proven tools and low cost initiatives to create and maintain a mentally healthy work environment to result in long-term success for their organization. Employees will take back simple and impactful exercises and tips to reduce stress and increase productivity. With an emphasis on self-care, every individual will feel empowered to make a difference, starting with improving their own wellbeing and expanding to a greater impact in their workplace.
