DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate National Beer Lovers Day!\n\n\n\nBids\, Bites & Beer is a new Chamber event and will feature a silent and live auction\, locally sourced food pairings with craft beer & wine tastings.\n\n\n\nLocally-sourced food pairings have been supported by Glastonbury farmstead Killam & Bassette.\n\n \n\nSponsorship Opportunities are Available\n\n\n\n Mac & cheese bites\n\n Beer battered chicken\n\n Chicken satay with alcoholic beverage inspired dips\n\n Caprese skewer\n\n Vegetable bruschetta on toasted flatbread\n\n Housemade kettle chips\n\n Mashed potato bar with all the fixings\n\n Grilled street corn\n\n Bow tie pasta with creamy ale squash sauce\n\n Roasted beef steamship carving station\n\n\n\nA portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jordan Porco Foundation\, founded in 2011 by Ernie and Marisa Porco after they lost their son\, Jordan\, to suicide when he was a freshman in college. The Auction takes place during national Suicide Awareness week and the mission of the Jordan Porco Foundation is to prevent suicide\, promote mental health\, and create a message of hope for young adults.
