DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free concert in the Front Courtyard from 6 - 8 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs\, blankets\, and picnic dinners and enjoy a night of live music!\n\n \n\nDave Giardina is a versatile guitarist\, string instrumentalist and educator. He is an award recipient member of the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism and has performed extensively throughout the Northeast at major festivals\, bandshells\, First Nights\, schools\, clubs\, and casinos as a soloist and with ensembles.\n\n \n\nColleen Mullaney has been singing for most of her life. She began vocal studies in junior high and throughout high school she performed classical music and musical theatre repertoire while working with a popular cover band on the weekends. While studying at Webster College in St. Louis\, Missouri\, she gave recitals and was a choir member and soloist at St. Louis area churches while singing in a folk music duo in coffee house settings with guitarist Peter Clemens.\n\n \n\nA winner of the University City Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition\, she presented operatic arias of Mozart with the orchestra\, and was a chorus member at Opera Theatre of St. Louis for two seasons. Although her work in education took precedence over her musical activities for many years\, she is grateful to back to singing again. Her recent interests include standards\, jazz\, and Irish traditional songs.
