SUMMARY:East Hartford Back to School Rally!
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, August 10th from 3:30pm-6:30pm  we are having our Back to School Rally on the town Greens on Main street for the first time in 2 years since the pandemic! We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us with the event.  \n\n\n\nPreparation of the event would consist of:\n\n	Helping solicit donations of backpacks and or school supplies through individual or organization donations \n	\n		Items: Pencils\, Crayons\, Spiral Notebooks\, Rulers\, Markers\, Colored Pencils\, Glue Sticks\, and Folders \n	\n	\n	Stuffing backpack on either Monday\, August 2nd or Wednesday\, August 4th. (location and times TBA )\n\nVolunteering the day of the event would consist of:\n\n\n	Assisting with backpack handouts\n	Assisting families with downloading/activating our new communication tool\n	Assisting with distribution of bottle water and other giveaways\n\n\nThere will be a collection box for items\, starting July 5\, to be dropped off located at 2400 Main Shoppe.  The shop hours are Tuesday - Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.
