DESCRIPTION:DATE MOVED FROM SUN. MARCH 10 TO SAT. MARCH 9\n\n\n\nKick off daylight savings time by getting outdoors and meeting some \n\nfellow CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce members!\n\n\n\nThis relatively short\, 1   mile hike provides a great workout and an overlook at the top of the trail.  The hike begins by following Smith Brook as it winds through the preserve.  We then double back and begin our ascent to the top of the hill.  Near the top\, Dorothy's Vista provides a nice view of Hartford.  We wrap up the hike by coming down the far side of the preserve\, cross the stream and head back to our cars.  We expect the hike to take about an hour.\n\n	The trailhead is located on Tall Timbers Road in Glastonbury\, about 800 feet on the left-hand side if you're coming from New London Turnpike.  There is an opening between the houses and a sign marks the trail.\n	This is very little parking at the trailhead.  Most of the parking will need to be done along Tall Timbers Road.  Please carpool to the trailhead if possible.  \n	Register so we know how many hikers to expect.\n	Poor weather will cancel the hike.
