DESCRIPTION:Applications are now being accepted for poets interested in serving as Glastonbury's Fourth Honorary Poet Laureate. Duties include:\n\n Fostering public appreciation of poetry in the community\n Three public presentations in the community each year\n Editing the monthly poetry column in the local paper\n\nApplicants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Glastonbury. Applicants will be judged on distinguished published works and commitment to fostering public appreciation of poetry for all ages.\n\n\n\nPlease submit a cover letter\, resume & 4-5 selections of your work electronically to: AMY.MCCUE@GLASTONBURY-CT.GOV or in paper format to Welles-Turner Memorial Library
