RESCHEDULED TO JUNE 6, 2020
We are delighted to continue the tradition of Marlborough Day featuring Blish Park and Lake Terramuggus. To encourage more family participation, the organizers have postponed this annual event to a time when people are more available, the first weekend in June. On Saturday, June 6, 2020, crafters, farmers market, food trucks, live music, beer garden and a Duck Race will entertain residents and visitors – something for everyone at every age!
This year’s Marlborough Day will be celebrated on Friday, August 23, with a new road race, the Lighting Bug 5K. This will take place at Blish Park at 6:30 pm. We are looking forward to community support and lots of runners decked out in their best lightning bug costumes running the course counterclockwise and enjoying a dip in the lake after completing the downhill to the beach. It’s an exciting new race for both runners and spectators.
Any questions, please contact the CT River Valley Chamber at 860-659-3587. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you at the race!
This event promises to be the Chamber’s new marquee event in Marlborough celebrating the end of summer attracting the elusive 21-35 demographic. Click here to become a sponsor.
