    Executive Assistant / Office Manager Job Description

    We are a small family-owned chain of three high-volume supermarkets in central Connecticut with a passion for delivering the very highest quality service to our customers and our associates alike.

    We’re currently looking for a full time Executive Assistant/Office Manager who has the same passion and will bring organization, professionalism, outstanding communication skills, and a “can-do” attitude to this fast-paced position. The right fit will have a friendly disposition, act in the best interest of the company, take initiative, and anticipate the needs of the executive group.

    Reporting to the President, the primary focus of this position will be to support the executive group of the company, particularly the President and Directors. Responsibilities include:

    · Executive assistance, including preparing correspondence, screening calls and visitors, and representing the executive group to the outside

    · Office management, including vendor management/relations, developing and documenting administrative procedures, data entry/database management, maintenance of computer files, and supplies management

    · Accounting assistance, including developing and running reports, light account reconciliation, oversight of payables and receivables, and petty cash management

    · Events, program, and project management, including coordinating of special events, assisting with customer and employee appreciation efforts, and assisting with community outreach efforts

    Use your solid computer skills (including advanced Microsoft Office skills and basic accounting software) along with 3+ years experience in an office environment to perform these tasks and improve organization and efficiencies throughout the company. Experience in project management a definite plus.
