Glastonbury Arts is Hiring Experienced Summer Art Instructors!
Glastonbury Arts is celebrating 60 years of educating, enriching and engaging individuals of our community in the creation and appreciation of all forms of artistic expression.
As we continue to fulfill this mission, we are looking for experienced art instructors to teach summer classes and workshops in the coming months. We hope you’ll consider joining us this summer to share your love of art with our community.
Schedule/Hourly Rate/Class Size:
Select your own time frame in June or July. $35 per hour with supplies provided by Glastonbury Arts for children. Group size typically 5 or fewer. Following CDC recommendation for masking. Located at Hebron Avenue Arts building.
In-person, a week of morning or afternoon activities, 2 to 3 hours each day with teacher designed activities for children from 6 to 8 years or from 9-12 years of age. Instructor may choose to teach one week or more.
A single day workshop or a class running once a week for 4 weeks. Possible areas of instruction include plein air painting at local locations, oil painting techniques, approaches to abstract art or other areas of the instructor’s special interest. Students provide their own materials.
