Excellent opportunity for a qualified team player with a true ‘self-starter’ attitude seeking a position with potential growth. The ideal candidate will able to manage job sites with other team members and trade sub-contractors as well as client expectations and communication. As the front line in achieving company goals, the project manager must focus on product quality, timeliness and customer satisfaction.
This position is part-time to start and can increase to full time for the right candidate. Pay will start at $25/hour for a 30-day probation period.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
-Able to problem solve and troubleshoot
-Basic knowledge/understanding of construction methods and various trades such as demolition, framing, basic HVAC / Elec / Plumbing, underlayment, drywall hanging, taping and finishing, painting, flooring installation, finish carpentry, window, door and siding installation. Minimally, feels comfortable learning about them.
-Solve math problems quickly and accurately
-Ability to interact and effectively communicate with the Client, Team members, and Subcontractors throughout the job
-Self-starter and independent worker with attention to detail
- Positive attitude
OTHER TECHNIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 80 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing or walking.
-Must be able to interpret plans and elevations
- Must be able to use Excel and Word as well as scheduling apps.
-Must have own reliable and presentable transportation
-Must pass a background check, hold a valid driver’s license, provide own cell phone
- Must have a clean appearance and be a non-smoker
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of the jobs given to them by the design and sales team, which includes completing on time, on budget, and maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and professional communication. They will be responsible for scheduling of all subcontractors and inspections, material ordering and project preparations. Travel to jobsites to meet with subcontractors and analyze problems and progress is expected. They will not perform physical labor besides delivering materials to jobsites as needed. The Project Manager may at times need to deal with customer requests, questions, and inquires in a polite and business-like manner.
