    Summary
    We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Assistant to the General Manager to assist in the direction and management of the organization's business activities. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll work in a variety of settings, including residential homes predominantly of senior citizens and senior living communities; non-senior citizen single family homes, condominiums, and apartments; and in the comfort of your own home or office.

    You will participate in the daily company activities, manage client intakes, and assist with client consultations. You’ll learn and present all aspects of the company offerings and effectively communicate our services to others. You’ll manage and monitor multiple client sites and troubleshoot problems. You will act as a confidante and advisor to the General Manager, as well as act as a sounding board for ideas and will help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

    Job Responsibilities

     Hands on management, but will also be involved in manual work
     Create positive relationships with clients and vendors
     Timely prospective client responses by monitoring and responding to email, messages, and other communications often throughout the day
     Schedule and perform client intakes and collect fees
     Site manage the teams and the field when General Manager is not present
     Identify, address, and problem solve on-site and notify General Manager
     Manage field conversations with client and family members
     Attend business networking meetings monthly and represent the company
     Manage vendor relationships
     Proactively initiate process improvements
     Assist in new hire training
     Identify growth opportunities for the company and enhance the organization's image
     Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations and vendors
     Support worker communication with the management team
     Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
     Motivate and support staff and employees; evaluate performance and productivity
     Act as backup for driving the company truck when needed

    Required Skills

     3+ years’ experience in supervision, operations, and/or leadership required with the ability to demonstrate examples of leadership
     Outstanding communication and customer service skills
     Exceptional problem solving abilities
     Strong initiative and drive; self-starter
     Comprehends the importance of networking with others, at events, other opportunities, etc.
     Extremely well organized with a meticulous attention to detail
     Works well with other team members and builds strong relationships with clients
     Compassionate and understanding of senior citizens needs
     Comfortable making high-level decisions independently
     Ability to think quickly and change direction to accommodate the needs of the client or job
     Flexibility to support the General Manager when unplanned situations arise
     Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; comfortable familiarity with PowerPoint and Zoom
