May is Mental Health Awareness month!
the North Central Regional Suicide Advisory Board, Local Prevention Councils (including G-Bury, Marlborough, and East Hartford!), and regional Problem Gambling Awareness team are having combined meetings with the invitation to the public to come and check out what their work entails. Included will be a presentation on "Postvention 101" which will explain how towns can best support their community after a loss to suicide.
There will be resource vans giving away free educational materials and promotional items for workplaces, schools, first responders, and interested community members.
(and there will be refreshments of course!)
All are welcome to come and connect at any time during the event. Attend ta coalition meeting or just drop in to say hello.
