Road Race Saturday serves as a prelude to the annual 4.748-mile Thanksgiving Day road race. A celebration of the race and the community, all activities will take place on the grounds of the Manchester High School. Parking at and around the High School is plentiful.

This non-competitive run is open to all kids aged 12 and under and features five separate races: 100m, 1/4 Mile, 1/2 Mile, 1 Mile and 2 Miles. Registration opens on October 1, 2023. Entries are limited to the first 1000 runners who sign up. All pre-registered children will receive a medal.

• On Race Day, bib pick-up opens at 8:30 in the Manchester High School cafeteria.
• In lieu of a registration fee, we encourage participants to bring 2 non-perishable food items as a donation to the MACC Food Bank.
• All races will start and finish on the Manchester High School track.
• Entertainment will include skydivers, music and a truck display.
• If the event has to be postponed due to inclement weather, the rain date will be Friday, November 24.

The exhibition hall will contain displays provided by sponsors and local vendors. Walk-in registration for the 87th Manchester Road Race and bib pick-up, for those that already registered on-line will be available from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm, when the registration fee will increase to $42.
