As a lover of food, plants, and the outdoors, Brenda has spent lots of time creating incredible dishes using what she’s grown and foraged. After she became an herbalist, she realized that eating healthy also had healing connotations and the two are connected in so many ways. The benefits are endless when the healing powers of vegetables and herbs are understood and when dishes are prepared with intention and purpose. Let Brenda show you how!
Registration begins April 5th, online or by calling the library’s Reference Department at 860-652-7720. Registration with a valid email address is required to receive login information on the day of the Zoom meeting.
About the presenter: Brenda is an herbalist, author, and market gardener who specializes in growing lavender, medicinal herbs, and flowers on Thompson Street Farm, her micro-farm in South Glastonbury. She also makes and sells goat's milk soap under the Farm to Bath brand.
