Distinguished historian Dr. Malcolm Gaskill presents groundbreaking research into the social and cultural forces behind witchcraft accusations in early America. This virtual lecture examines the process of researching the past and trying to understand the circumstances and events that lead to witch trials across 17th century New England.
Dr. Gaskill's scholarship illuminates the human stories of this dark part of our history and modern audiences understand how we have come to understand this history and we present it in an accurate way.
