American Eagle Awards 2022 East Hartford Academy of Finance Scholarship to Abdullah Sheikh

American Eagle Financial Credit Union (AEFCU) continued their longtime support of higher education and partnership with East Hartford Public Schools by awarding their 2022 Academy of Finance Scholarship to East Hartford High School graduate and soon-to-be UConn Engineering student Abdullah Sheikh. Sheikh, an honor student who graduated with the EHHS Class of 2022, received $3,000 from AEFCU to support his college education.
 
“American Eagle congratulates Abdullah on his recent graduation and for being named the recipient of the 2022 Academy of Finance Scholarship,” said Howard Brady, President & CEO of American Eagle Financial Credit Union. “We wish him much luck and happiness in his next chapter, as he continues his education at UConn and pursuit of a degree and career in engineering.”
 
The East Hartford Academy of Finance is part of the National Academy Foundation, which provides an educational model for EHHS students that includes industry-focused curricula, work-based learning experiences and business partner expertise from the community.
