Poetry Inspired by Art
Sunday afternoon, Sept 7 from 3-4:30, at the On the Green Fine Art & Craft Show
We are thrilled to work with Glastonbury Poet Laureate Victoria Nordlund in the presentation of this year's Poetry Inspired by Art at the 2025 "On the Green" Fine Art & Craft Show on Hubbard Green, corner of Main & Hubbard Streets in Glastonbury. Victoria, Connecticut State Poet Laureate Antoinette Brim-Bell and 8 other distinguished poets will present their original poetry inspired by the artwork of local member artists.
Victoria Nordlund, Glastonbury’s 4th Poet Laureate, is a celebrated poet and educator. "I look forward to bringing life to poetry in a public setting." Her poetry collections Wine-Dark Sea and Binge Watching Winter on Mute are published by Main Street Rag. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut, and lead master teaching artist of the The Nook Farm Writers Collaborative at The Mark Twain House & Museum.
