Description
Join us for East Hartford Community Health Day: Together We Walk & Run for Education — a free community event bringing youth, families, adults, businesses, and community organizations together around health, wellness, fitness, and connection.
Hosted in partnership with DT Cares, the Town of East Hartford, East Hartford Public Schools, East Hartford Early Start, the East Hartford Alumni Association, Hartford HealthCare, and community partners, the day will feature:
- 5K Walk/Run
- 3v3 Basketball Tournament
- Kids activities and games
- Community resources
- Health and wellness screenings
- Hartford HealthCare Mobile Mammography Unit
- Food and refreshments available for purchase
Mobile mammography services will be available, and insurance is not required for those interested in participating.
The event is open to the entire community.
