East Hartford, CT - The Town of East Hartford is excited to invite community members and neighbors to enjoy the Sounds of Summer, a series of free, family-friendly concerts returning to the riverside amphitheater at Great River Park, located at 301 East River Drive.  We welcome the community to bring a picnic basket, your friends and family and join us to relax and listen to live music outdoors while overlooking the banks of the Connecticut River and the Hartford skyline. The concert series begins on Thursday, June 23rd with new performers every week through Thursday, August 4^th with the exception of June 30th when there will be no be concert scheduled. Concerts are held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.  Cancellations will be posted on the Town of East Hartford website and the Parks and Recreation Facebook page.  We will attempt to reschedule any cancelled concerts.  Tentative rain dates are August 11^th and August 18^th.
