Marlborough Jr. Ancient
Fife & Drum CorpsBased in Marlborough CT, the Marlborough Jr. Ancient Fife & Drum Corps is a non-profit group dedicated to educating and entertaining the public through performance and demonstration of historical martial music. Youth ages 8-17 from Marlborough and surrounding communities, rehearse weekly to learn the ancient style of fifing and drumming. Every year, the Marlborough Jr. Ancients travel throughout New England and beyond to perform at parades, ceremonies and musters. In the process, members adopt principles of teamwork, responsibility, leadership and friendship, all while having fun.
