Members of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra present an afternoon of Modernist works by Marc Mellits, Igor Stravinsky, Carlos Simon, and Bohuslav Martin in conjunction with the special exhibition Milton Avery. Join curator Erin Monroe for a gallery talk before the concert highlighting Avery’s signature paintings and his Hartford roots.
