Chelsea Groton Bank has been recognized as a Hartford, Middlesex, Tolland, New London, and Windham County Top Workplaces award winner (in a new tab)for eight consecutive years by Hartford Courant Top Workplaces. In addition, Anthony A. Joyce, III, the Bank’s President and CEO, was presented with this year’s Leadership award in the midsize employer category (150-499 employees). The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“I’m very proud of the committed team we have at Chelsea Groton Bank and honored to be named a Top Workplaces award winner once again,” shared Joyce, President and CEO of Chelsea Groton Bank. “We’re always working to ensure inclusion and equity in every aspect of our business. We participate in this survey each year as one way to gather feedback from our team. It’s gratifying to know that our team members continue to feel committed to the mission of the organization, valued for their individual and collective contributions, and proud of the work they do to support customers each day. And I’m incredibly humbled and honored to be a recipient of the Leadership award. I couldn’t be more proud to lead the dedicated team we have at Chelsea Groton Bank.”

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

While Chelsea Groton offers traditional benefits for employees, the Bank also provides team members at every level within the organization the opportunity to partake in a variety of continual education and leadership programs, as well as a wellness program designed with incentives to track and challenge participants in physical, mental, and financial well-being. The One Chelsea diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative, community volunteerism, team building activities, and donation and supply drives have also always been driving factors in bringing the team together.
