Glastonbury, CT — December 2025 — Macros Healthy Restaurant, Connecticut’s first fast-casual
concept built entirely around health, nutrition transparency, and purpose filled eating, has officially opened
its doors in Glastonbury. Founded by husband-and-wife team Michael and Chelsea Osgood, Macros was
created to make healthy eating accessible and more informative for the everyday lifestyle. Rooted in the
belief that food is medicine, fuel, and function, the restaurant pairs premium ingredients with evidence based nutrition guidance to bring a new level of purpose to the fast-casual category.

A key part of this mission is the restaurant’s proprietary Macro Calculator, a digital tool that allows
customers to calculate their daily macronutrient needs based on age, activity level, and health goals. The
brand’s complementary Meal Calculator gives guests the ability to build their bowl and instantly view
macros (proteins, carbs, & fats), calories, and the health benefits of each ingredient. While integrating
food and technology, these tools bridge the gap between nutrition and convenience, empowering
customers to understand exactly what they’re eating and why it supports their physical, mental, and
emotional well-being.

Macros sets a new standard for ingredient integrity. The restaurant does not use seed oils; all meals are
cooked exclusively in olive oil or avocado oil. Additionally, all proteins are prepared in-house, giving
customers an added level of trust in the quality, freshness, and sourcing of every component on their
plate.

Each meal at Macros is built using fresh, nutrient-dense ingredients and purposeful combinations. Guests
can create their own bowls or choose from signature options designed for specific goals such as the
Heart Health Bowl, Antioxidant Bowl, High Protein Bowl, Anti-Inflammation Reducer, and Immuno
Booster. Customers scan QR codes in store to learn additional micronutrient information, helping guests
understand exactly how each component contributes to their goals.

When Michael and Chelsea realized how difficult it was to find trustworthy, health-forward fast-casual
