Welles Turner Memorial Library Seeking Applicants for Glastonbury's Next Poet Laureate

Applications are now being accepted for poets interested in serving as Glastonbury's Fourth Honorary Poet Laureate

Duties Include:

• Fostering public appreciation of poetry in the community
• Three public presentations in the community each year
• Editing the monthly poetry column in the local paper

Application Deadline: April 20, 2024
Three-year term, begins July 1, 2024

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and resident of Glastonbury. Applicants will be judged on distinguished published works and commitment to fostering public appreciation of poetry for all ages.
