    Applications for the 2026 UConn EBV are open! The final deadline is Friday, April 24.
     
    The program consists of three phases: a 30-day online course, an 8-day residency and a yearlong mentorship as well as other resources to support the startup and early growth stages of your business. Ideal candidates have been actively working on business development and operations for at least six months and have capital investment (bootstrapped or investor-provided) to fund startup and growth operations.
     
    Online Phase I: June 1, 2026 - June 30, 2026 (Online; plan to dedicate 6 - 10 hours a week)
    Residency Phase II: July 12, 2026 - July 19, 2026 (In person; travel and boarding paid by program)

    ACTIVE SERVICE MEMBERS (Still serving)

    • ACTIVE-DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS WITHIN 180 DAYS OF SEPARATION:
      • Letter from Command stating good standing; digitally signed by CAC card (in lieu of DD 214)
      • Statement of Service; digitally signed by CAC card (in lieu of disability rating)
    • ACTIVE-DUTY NATIONAL GUARD OR RESERVE:
      • Letter from Command stating good standing; digitally signed by CAC card (in lieu of DD 214)
      • Statement of Service; digitally signed by CAC card (in lieu of disability rating)
    VETERANS/RETIREES (No longer serving)
    • ACTIVE-DUTY/ARMY RESERVE:
      • DD-214 with honorable discharge
      • Disability letter
    • NATIONAL GUARD
      • NGB 22 with honorable discharge
      • Disability letter

    We currently offer this program entirely free of cost to accepted veterans. You will not need to use GI Bill benefits for the EBV.
