Superior 250: Building America
Recognizing the People Behind the Projects That Shape Our Communities
Connecticut wasn’t built overnight. It was built by people.
The contractors paving roads before sunrise. The tradespeople building homes and businesses. The public works crews maintaining the infrastructure we rely on every day. The business owners investing in their communities. The volunteers and organizations working to make their towns better places to live.
When we think about our communities, we often see the finished result: the road, the school, the park, the business, or the neighborhood. What we don’t always see are the people behind those projects.
Yet their work shapes our daily lives in ways both large and small.
For nearly 60 years, Superior has had the privilege of working alongside the people who build Connecticut. From local road improvements and utility projects to schools, parks, businesses, and community spaces, we’ve seen firsthand how communities grow when people invest in them.
With eight locations across the state, Superior has had a front-row seat to the work that keeps Connecticut moving forward. Some projects are highly visible. Others are hidden beneath roads, behind walls, and underground. But all of them represent an investment in the future of the communities we call home.
As America prepares to celebrate its 250th Anniversary, Superior is launching Superior 250: Building America, a summer-long initiative dedicated to recognizing the people, projects, and partnerships that continue shaping our communities.
While America’s 250th Anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on our history, it is also a reminder that the future is still being built every day.
Throughout the summer, Superior 250: Building America will highlight the contractors, tradespeople, businesses, community partners, employees, and organizations helping move Connecticut forward. The campaign will also support Building Homes for Heroes, an organization dedicated to serving veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and educators who make a difference in communities across the country.
As Superior Products President Grant Crispino explains:
“Connecticut has given our company the opportunity to grow for nearly 60 years. We are proud to serve communities across the state and support the contractors, businesses, municipalities, and organizations that help make those communities stronger. Superior 250: Building America is our way of recognizing the people behind that work and celebrating the impact they have every day.”
While America may be celebrating 250 years of history, the next 250 years are being built by people who care about their communities and are willing to invest in them.
This summer, Superior is proud to celebrate the people who continue building Connecticut — one project, one business, and one community at a time.
