COMIC CREATORS STUDIO: Advanced Cartooning & Comics (Ages 9–13)
Wednesdays, April 8–June 3, no class on April 15 (public school break), 8 weeks | 4:30–6:30 PM
Calling all cartoonists! This 8 week class is all about finding your voice in the comic world. Students will level up their skills by creating original characters, developing stories, and learning how to show big emotions, action, and personality through expressive cartooning. We’ll dive into comic panels, pacing, dialogue, tracing techniques, and visual storytelling—all while having tons of fun bringing ideas to life on the page. The session culminates in a celebratory final class where family and friends are invited to view the students’ comics, hear about their creative process, and enjoy light refreshments.
