On Wednesday, August 10th from 3:30pm-6:30pm we are having our Back to School Rally on the town Greens on Main street for the first time in 2 years since the pandemic! We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us with the event.
Preparation of the event would consist of:- Helping solicit donations of backpacks and or school supplies through individual or organization donations
- Items: Pencils, Crayons, Spiral Notebooks, Rulers, Markers, Colored Pencils, Glue Sticks, and Folders
- Stuffing backpack on either Monday, August 2nd or Wednesday, August 4th. (location and times TBA )
- Assisting with backpack handouts
- Assisting families with downloading/activating our new communication tool
- Assisting with distribution of bottle water and other giveaways
There will be a collection box for items, starting July 5, to be dropped off located at 2400 Main Shoppe. The shop hours are Tuesday - Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.
