Our Open Networking sessions are dynamic, welcoming, and consistently well attended, bringing together a fresh mix of professionals every other week at the Academy Cafeteria in Glastonbury and Goodwin University in East Hartford. Open to all, these sessions are free for Chamber members, and future members are welcome to attend up to four times at no cost—an easy way to experience the value of the Chamber firsthand. Each gathering offers the opportunity to meet new faces, build authentic connections, and expand your network in a relaxed, engaging environment. Hosted by Eric Lopkin, owner of The Modern Observer Group, a celebrated facilitator and author, every session also features a guest speaker who educates attendees on a business-focused topic—never a sales pitch—making each meeting both informative and impactful.

Our guest speaker will be Janet Evans from the Glastonbury Farmer's Market. She will be discussing the upcoming season with a renewed focus on growth, community engagement and enhancing the overall vendor and attendee experience. She will provide an overview of our new board members, a newly hired Social Media and Market Manager, volunteer pipeline, and continued partnership with the town and Chamber. The Market is also working on introducing events this year to increase traffic at the market. And finally, they are actively seeking CT Grown agriculture/aquaculture vendors, local nonprofits, CT-made vendors and sponsors to help expand the market and showcase the best Glastonbury and the area has to offer.
